Pres aide says AI may add up to 2% of GDP growth/year by 2030
ST. PETERBSURG, Jun 6 (PRIME) -- Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies could add up to 2% to Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth a year by 2030, Dmitry Peskov, special representative of the president on digital and technological development, said Thursday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“On the whole I can say that by modest calculations, on the horizon up to 2030, input to annual GDP growth from use of AI technologies could be from 1.1% to 2%,” Peskov said.
“These are very balanced estimations for the Russian economy, which are in line with the very moderate global expert figures.”
